About Jay

"Go west, young man" - Horace Greeley

Jay Manning is a seasoned business development and sales professional with a passion for the technology industry. With over 15 years of experience in the field, Jay has a deep understanding of IAM, network security, content delivery networks, and cloud-based solutions. He has held leadership roles at several prominent companies, including AWS, Hewlett-Packard, and Trend Micro.

Currently, Jay serves as the head of North American AWS partnerships at Cloudreach, an Atos company. In this role, he is responsible for driving the growth and success of the company through strategic partnerships.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Jay is also the founder and president of Black Tech Northwest, a organization dedicated to providing resources and opportunities to those early in their careers in the cloud industry.

When he's not working, Jay can be found golfing, camping, enjoying his wine collection, or building new partnerships. He splits his time between Scottsdale, AZ and Seattle, WA and is also the owner of Brown Rock Golf Apparel, which makes golf equipment more accessible to new players.

Jay Manning is has a strong background in community organizing and fundraising. He is currently the Director of Black Tech NW, an organization that helps young men and women achieve their goals of working in the tech industry by sharing knowledge, resources, and ideas. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Governors for the Columbia Tower Club and has held various volunteer roles including Fundraising Volunteer/Client Relations for the Korean Women's Association, Community Organizer for Union Gospel Mission of Portland, Fundraising Chairman for Zeta Beta Tau Foundation, and Fundraising Coordinator for the MS Society.
